All passengers are required to show photo ID when checking in. On trans-border flights you are required to complete your booking form in full and be in possession of a current passport, including children and infants. You should also be in possession of a valid visa if you are neither a citizen of the USA or Canada. US Customs will deny entry to passengers without the necessary documentation or credentials. In which event, the passengers will be responsible for their own repatriation costs. We guarantee the lowest fare. If you can locate a lower fare within 12 hours of booking, we will offer a fare that is 10% less - provided the fare is non-stop, and available.

All trans-border fares and charges are in US currency. For flights that are wholly within Canada, fares and charges are in $CA currency.

Fares are non-refundable. Should you be concerned that you may not be able to complete your journey as planned, we recommend that you purchase loss of fare insurance from a reputable source particularly if it is family traveling. If you wish to change your date, please see date change conditions below.

If you book early, check to see if any Early Bird fare reductions are available. No changes allowed.

Should you wish to transfer your fare to another individual, you may do so up to 24 hours prior to departure plus an administration fee of $50. This requires a request with full details to marketing@northstarairtours.com

If you are traveling on a regular fare and wish to change your dates, you may do so upon payment of $25 fee per booking under your ID number/booking up to 14 days prior to your departure - subject to availability. Within 14 days of departure, you may change your traveling dates at the fare published for those dates to which you wish to change, at the published fare plus an administration fee of $25 each way for each fare.

Children under 12 years of age - $20 reduction over adult fares.

Children under the age of 2 years are free providing they do not occupy a seat.

The co-pilots seat is available at 150% of the regular fare. Surcharge payable on departure.

N.B. In keeping with the Canadian Transportation Agency regulations, our fares include additional charges, which are fully explained - if any are applied - at time of purchase.
Base Fares do not include Terminal Facility Fees, CATSA (security), CBP (US Customs and Immigration fees), or card charges - if and where applicable.
Fares are subject to applicable sales taxes.

We operate air taxi planes with limited space, however we will do whatever is possible to boarding disabled passengers first. You must be ambulatory, with the ability to walk on and off the aircraft with minimal or no assistance. (Noted in the booking flow as a flag for people to indicate they need assistance). Regrettably we are unable to carry service animals due to space limitations, however if the aircraft is not full we will endeavor to carry a service animal. It is implicit that this service cannot be guaranteed.

We accept animals (dogs or cats) if they are caged, weigh less than 15 lbs. and fit under the seat, or in the baggage hold. Animals, subject to size, not meeting these restrictions can be carried in the baggage hold provided they are crated and upon payment of a fare of $50.

Baggage on smaller aircraft, due to smaller cargo holds, should wherever possible be soft sided to prevent damage, and to maximize available storage space. Limit 20 lbs. Excess baggage $2.00 per pound min $20.00 - if space is available. 
Oversize sporting equipment; skis/board, golf clubs are only carried aboard charter flights on a space available basis plus an additional charge of $25.00 per piece in each direction - and may not be included in the standard baggage allowance. Small bags such as briefcases 8”X12” can be accommodated under the seats.

First come first served, no charge. All seats, but two, are window seats.

Flights are all planned non-stop. At times weather can deteriorate to unsafe non-flyable conditions, requiring the delay or cancellation of the flight. We do not accept responsibility for wveather delays. If a likely delay is known ahead of time - or in the event that there is a weather warning- do not go to the airport without checking our web site, or calling 250 8001381. We will make every effort to contact you if we have your number to give you advance warning in the event of a possible flight change. We will also do everything in our power to reschedule, and accommodate our passengers. We cannot accept any responsibility whatsoever for our passengers financially. In these cases, we will however refund yourfare if you are not satisfied with the alternate scheduling planned.


Victoria International Airport
The airpott is at Sidney, 25 minutcs north of Victoria. Please check in at the NorthStar Air Tours counter no later than ½ an hour before departure times as all passengers are required to go through security. Be sure you have your passport and travel documents for US Customs and Immigration. The airport has both a foreign exchange counter, and ATMs. Various transportation options exist into Victoria. Rental car companies, BC Transit buses to downtown, YYJ Shuttle. and taxis.

Friday Harbor Airport
The airport is a 10 minutes walk fromom the centre of town. Please check in at the small terminal no later than 15 minutes before departure time. Be sure you have your passport ready for Canadian Customs and Immigration.

Eastsound Airport
The airport is in the centre of town. Please check in at the small terminal no later than 15 before departure.
